Hi, I came across this vase a few years ago and am 95% sure it is a Nylund design for Strombergshyttan. It stands 12ins (30.5cm), has a polished pontil and is in that light blue that the Strombergshyttan factory used on occasions. Kosta also used this internal 'strapped' design but it appears that the vases were always footed. Can anyone confirm by suspicion?
Gorgeous!
It's a basic design by Gunnar Nylund.(B818). The straps appears in some vases from number B829 and ends at about B876 in the catalog from 1962. Number B831 has this internal straps but the form is with longer neck and smaller air drop bulb in proportions. Maybe this is that or another model number? But my belief is that Nylund for sure stands behind your vase.
Thanks rebessin I knew you would have the answer.
Nice result all round! Lovely!
Beautiful:)
