Vintage Japanese Electric Jug/Kettle

This is a really cool vintage porcelain electric jug/kettle, Made in Japan that I found in a second hand shop in San Jose. It was in mint condition and working order. I had to walk across a short section of a highway to get to the shop and was literally risking my life and limb to get to the shop. I was also the only person walking down the road, across the highway section, down more roads etc. Everyone drives in San Jose or most parts of the US I suppose. I can't drive on the wrong side (to me) of the road and didn't want to risk being a danger to other road users and myself :) But I was very glad I walked and found this treasure.
