I am a bit stumped with this watch, I have searched and searched but can not find another to compare it too.
Does anyone know anything about this watch, I was told it is a military issue watch but don't know for sure.
Its a Landeron 13 movement, very heavy and well built case, I had the Oyster type bracelet fitted myself as came on a NATO strap.
Please help if you know anything!
Thank You
Can't help with any info, as I have never heard of one, but it looks cool! It would look i=even cooler on MY wrist. :)
Hee Hee - yes I bet it would. Looks even better on mine. This is a collectors piece, that much I do know.
I am wondering what something like this may actually be worth, as I'd love a Rolex and so I'm hoping that this will allow me to buy one.
I do know its a Landeron 13 movement, 2 register chronograph as used in Heuer Carrera of the same period.
This is a proper watch, does everything a modern watch does except look the dogs dangling bits, whereas modern watches don't look as cool as this one.
I have been a watch trader for many years, even have my own site dedicated to vintage watches and Rolex watches - its horologicalconsultant.webs.com and if you have any vintage or Rolex related questions, you can reach me via the site as my contact details are on view for all to see.
Oh I do hope someone can help me find the origins of this fabulous time piece
Hello thehorologist, I have an old Rolex Oyster Speedking Precision (28 mm excluding the winder) in which the balance staff is broken. Do you know where I can get it repaired or get parts? I live in London. Thanks very much. George

I am trying to find out how they should be as mine was super glued down!!!!
