I just came back form a brief trip to Denver, where I was lucky to get in a couple hours of thrift shopping. I found this emerald beauty at Goodwill, and was immediately attracted to its hand-blown quality.
It has a rough pontil mark on the bottom, but no signature or mark. There are several imperfections, mostly air bubbles and slightly uneven swirling ridges, which only added to its appeal for me. Is there any way to date a piece like this? My guess based on its simple design and shape was 30s-40s.
I know little about glassware, so I'd love to hear from some of the experts!
Love the décor and shape...classic!
thanks Moon & Justanovice :)

Your very welcome Hunter:) calling TallCakes:)
Yep, it's definitely hollow! I get a Mexican feel from it, too. I'll enjoy it regardless, but that makes me less worried about chipping it. ;)
Mexican glass pitcher = massive margarita holder :)
