    5 dolls dating from Victorian time. 6 inches long. Metal/lead feet. Cloth bodies, 3 have what appears to be human hair.

      I'm not a doll person but I did have a reason to research one for a friend. I found quite a bit of information on either the library of congress or Smithsonian site. It has been so long I forget but there was quite a collection. Perhaps it will help you in your research also.

      Could you post a close up of face and tell me what bodies are made of under clothes ? I do not think all of them as as old as Victorian age , A few have what is called mohair and all do not appear same age . I could help more if I could see them better . Very nice collection :-)

      They also resemble the working dolls of Israel, you may want to check it out...nice lot...
