oak rocking recliner chair with lion arms

this rocking chair has been pasted through the family 5 generations. My great grandmother got it for trade fr a bill owed to her. I have know idea what kind it is or worth or what kind of a chair it is called. The Morris chair had the hardware in the back of the chair, this one is under the seat to recline. It has beautiful hand carvings, can someone help me out!
