I was given this beautiful doll for my daughter, but she cannot play with it because I feel it is a collectible item. So I'm wondering if it's of any value or what ii should do with her. She's a beautiful native American girl doll. There are no markings, just a gold made in China sticker. Her head, arms and legs are what seem to be porcelain and the body is cloth cotton stuffed. I'm just wondering if I should put her in a glass case or let my daughter put her on a shelf in her room. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you
Hi your doll is pretty , she was not made to be a toy but sold from 1980's to start of 2000 . These were supposed to gain in value as people thought anyway. They were mass produced and have lost their value. Thousands of these types of contemporary porcelain dolls hit the market to be sold in past years and they sell for a few dollars when they do sell . I would put her on my daughter's shelf and consider her a decoration :-)
Your awesome! Thank you for the information, and so quickly. That's kind of what I figured about it and initially that where she went, but the more I looked at her, the more I wondered about her. The details were amazing and I figured I would try and find some info but couldn't..so thank you very much, my daughter will be pleased and I won't be nervous if she happens to knock it over :)
Your welcome . Here is one close to yours that did not sell . Seller had $30 on her . No bids :-(
