This set was produced in Silesia some time before the end of WWII. My best guess is that it was made in the 1930's, based on what I know about it. I used to play with it as a child and, of course, I broke the cup and saucer. What you see here are the surviving pieces. Needles to say that I would love to find the matching cup and saucer.

The set was produced for Woolworth stores.

    Thanks for looking:)

You're right, it does date to the 1930's and was made by Reinhold Schlegelmilch for Woolworths, which might help you find the pattern name. Try replacements.com. They don't ship overseas, but they're a great resource when you're trying to figure out a pattern name.
I miss "Woolies" as we called it in the UK.
My husband is from Watertown, NY where the very first Woolworths was opened

maryh1956, I am amazed about your knowledge of porcelain! I will check the website you suggested. It would be great if I can find the missing pieces ( I have great childhood memories about playing with the set). I can have them shipped to my mom who lives in Germany, so it wouldn't matter if they don't ship oversees.
Thank you so much for your valuable help:)

LOL. I am actually in Canada. I guess they will ship to the cold north. I thought they are located in Europe.
Thanks for your information about the site. I will check it out:)
