Interesting little religious pendent. I can't prove it, but the rim and other rings really looks like 18k gold to me. Very interesting little piece. Is this enamel or a print or painting? Would like to know more! Thanks!
Pilgrimage in the South of France in honour the Saint Maria. It seem enamel to me!
Sorry not France but Portugal
Hi agram.m! I was hoping you would chime in on this. Sorry for the ignorance...but can you explain a little more? Do you think it is a travel "safety charm"? 1900's? Thanks agram and doc for the love!
I would indeed say about 1880 and I suppose it was not intended to be a safety charm but a charm as devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary. Because, as I already said in my earlier mail Fatima is a pilgrimage in honor of the Virgin Mother.
I understand now, sorry!!! Thanks for helping, I was sure that it was not a piece of junk and that it had some age to it. Great!
agram.m.....I was wondering if you had any opinion on the age and/or value of this item I posted last week:
