I have seen information on this type of Blown Cut glass in the past but I can't for the life of me remember where. It is a high quality item made by a High Quality Glass Maker but is completely unmarked. It has panels, ribs, rings, a flat polished base and probably had a stopper at one time. There appears to be rings on the inside that makes it look as if they are silvered but they are not. The top shoulder rings are graduated and the bottle overall is tapered. Val Saint-Lambert comes to mind as a possible manufacturer but they usually marked their wares. It measures 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" wide and with a 3 3/8" base. Any help appreciated
Thank you Lee! BOB

Art Deco Moser? Josef Hoffman?
Wow! Thanks SEAN68! I googled Joseph Hoffman Glass and found a vase that is almost identical in workmanship/color as this bottle. Here is the link

Sweet find and good pin point Sean!
your very welcome Bob!!! and thankyou Amberrose!!!
There exists a catalogue on Joseph Hoffman designed glass items when he worked for MOSER that may show this decanter/bottle. I am trying to find a photo of this item so that I can find a stopper that would closely resemble the original. Anybody have it? BOB

I wrote to the MOSER Company to verify the Authenticity of this Decanter and they wrote back stating that it was made by MOSER in 1920 but that they could not definitely attribute the design to Joseph Hoffman.; quote below!
The Moser historian has viewed the glass item. Unfortunately he cannot exactly confirm this glass product was designed by Joseph Hoffmann. He designed the glass items in the twenties years of the 20th century so should it be his product the year of production was around the year 1920.
Best regards

check this out , this is marked on the bottom
so we do know it is Moser:) that is awesome .
im just giving you an idea of what the markings like on glass:)
Thanks SEAN68....there are no markings on the decanter but the vases that are attributed to him are not marked either. The fact that it is MOSER and it dates 1920's, is good enough for me. BOB
im so very happy for you BOB and that I could help you solve.
