Purchased this beautiful 1959 push bar off a BIN listing for 43% book value. Only 30 minutes passed from upload to seller's terms happily met. One just doesn't see this version come up often as anything other than a bid auction and they can be quite pricey as a result.
This porcelain sign has some wear around edges of the sweet spot, but I don't mind. I found a nice place for it tacked on The Coke Cave fireplace mantle, just above my rare 1920-30's version.
There's something about the Coca-Cola push bar signs that appeal to me. I guess it's the idea that hundreds - even thousands - of people have touched them on their way into a store to buy a treat or toy or perhaps a bottle of Delicious and Refreshing.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Good Times, Great Finds!

hey thanks Tommy. I'm looking forward to your next post. Hope it's going good in NY.
Thanks EJW for taking a look.
Nice item. I like it. 43% of which book value? The good one or the other one?
That's a great point. I should have looked at the good one. Yep, right on. I paid a little less than VG value shown in Blaine Martin's Guide to Vintage Coca-Cola Memorabilia (That's deserving of an acronym... BMGVCCM).
Damn, that guy's good! :0)
