    The lower glass case measures 10"+12" overall the clock measures 3' i believe its made from walnut, and brass, its been in my family since i can remember, the tag on the back is torn and inside there is no date, the name says Sessions, Can anyone give me more info. on this clock and date it?

      Thanks for taking some of your time to share the link Nathan.
      It's always helpful to know about the Manufacturer.
      These photos are so dark so it's hard to see detail so I can't be certain but this "Banjo" clock looks like a model that Sessions called the "Salem" from circa 1927. The Salem measured 42" from the top of the eagle finial to the tip of the bottom finial. This particular clock is missing a bottom finial which of course would make it "shorter". Also, the glass panels were ornately decorated. The example in my references has a painting of a six mast Ship with a very intricate design on the thin part of the case right below the dial. Hope that helps to solve your problem.
