    This looks to me like a pitcher or ewer. It looks like terra cotta at the tip and top. It has some emblisshments on the neck and I guess I would call shoulder. The bottom is slightly round but it will sand up. The color is a dark chestnut brown or black. Thank you for looking and your help.

      I love it too. I just don't know anything about the pitcher or ewer, not sure what to call it. Does anyone have suggests on where it might have come from or age. THANKS FOR THE HELP.
