I promised woody56 some pics of the sleds hiding in my garage so here are a couple. In the first one, the sled in the middle is the Flexible Flyer. The short sled has "THISTLE" on top and there is something on bottom but it's not very legible. The third sled is a "Fleetwing Racer". These came from an estate auction, there was five all together but I gave one to a competing bidder after the auction and the other was sold to cover what I spent on all of them, so I guess that worked out pretty well!!
Tommy, you did a good thing there. Always treat others the way you would want to be treated. Great sleds too!
These are really neat. Believe it or not when I moved to Florida I brought some old sleds along and they sold like hotcakes at a sugar and snow fest. I wish I had a house full of them. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Perry and fhrjr, I can't believe how much these go for in the antique shops I got the 5 for $30 and felt like a thief, lol!!!!!
I got for one sled almost six times what you paid for all of these and in Florida where it doesn't snow. Least I got for one was $165. I don't miss the snow, I do miss the sleds.
We had frost warnings this weekend, I'll ship you some snow when it arrives, just to remind you of what you AREN'T missing!!!
