This is a ww2 japanese aircraft temperature meter for a twin engine bomber. I was told this by the buyer in Japan who wanted this item very badly. It functioned when connected to a K type thermocouple. It appeared to be in unused condition and had the unused connectors still attached to the plugs in back. It was in excellent condition. Numerals still glowed very dimly when in a totally darkened room. PiThe prchased at a flea marker in the 80'. The seller had a 5 gallon bucket of like items but I only bought 1.
