    Don't know much about history, inherited from a family friend about 15 years ago.
    ...I cannot make out the artists name(??)

      Gorgeous lamp..sarahoff is correct it is made by Gouda Pottery and here is a link that will help you date it and and who the artist was!...:-)

      Thank you for your replies, I have tried the goudadesign site but am unable to get their email address. Shows that it is on bottom of contact page, but there is nothing(??)

      By comparing the base mark on your lamp with the marks on the link you should be able to find the date of when your lamp was made and the artists marks.. who painted it.

      nice lampfoot it was made by zuid holland in the city gouda around 1926,they didnt use yellow and blue very often or it might have been a fashion thing because i have two objects the same age from zuid holland very nice!! thanks for sharing
