I have collected a few 70s Automatic Seiko watches over the years and this particular one is the World Time version which tells the time of different cities in the world. You rotate the inner bezel, via the multi-function winder at 4 O'clock, which has city names in different time zones so that the red 24-hour hand points to your time zone. You can then read the time for different cities on the 24 hrs ring (in yellow) on the dial.
Unfortunately, my eye sight is so poor that I can read neither the names of the cities nor the numbers on the yellow ring! Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this posting of one of Seiko's finest 70s design for the people who appreciate complex movement watches!
