This is in my husbands collection.It is in beautiful condition.I will have to start posting his collection of vintage fishing gear.
It is a vintage cedar hand spool. It is about 50 years old

Hi ATTWOOD, Love it. I have an stool / chair in my collection with 2 spools mounted on the top, similar to yours posted. I have no idea about mine. Could you take a look at it in my collection, maybe you or your husband might know what it is. My Uncle had these spools in his carpentry shop, but he is no longer available to answer questions. Much appreciate it & much enjoy your share. =)
