Dodge Ram Bonnet Mascot

Was given this Dodge bonnet ram over 20 years ago by an acquaintance said that it was quite old. Was told it came from a vehicle in UK. Would like to find out more about it and wondered what the best way of doing this might be. Can anyone help please?

Thanks for your comments have added a photo of the numbers on the base of the ram. Does this confirm the date of manufacture?
