I can not figure out what this is. Anyone? Pewter. Has a tiny hole in the back like you would hang it up/as the back is flat....With computers you would think you could easily figure this out but I am at a lost. I bought a box at an estate auction and it was in there. Thank you 12 inches tall (top point) 6 wide ( not counting handles)3 inches width.

Not sure, but it's very beautiful.

My guess is that it is from pre -water systems for over a "toilet" or sink. Probably made to hang on a wall. Had an old "toilet" once with fold down sinks that had something like this built in. Old "toilets" were for brushing teeth, washing you face, shaving etc. & not a crapper.

I see something on eBay looking like this and they say it is for moonshine? Any thoughts? If it is a water system what would you call it? Is there a name to look up so I can see photos? Thanks for the input.
