LOUMANAL
(436 items)
Another Put Away Bowl that we rediscovered today that is made of thick Black Amethyst Glass with a white to blue PULLED FEATHER Decor that is in the glass (not irradiated finish). The bowl is made of fairly thick 1/4" black glass that has been hand blown and tapered to a 10 1/2" opening from a 4 1/2" concave base that has a deep polished pontil. The Amethyst color is only seen when held towards a very bright light. I have NO idea how the outside decor was done since the inside of the bowl is as black as you can get in glass and the outside is quite smooth with no ribbing except where the feathers join near the rim. I have no idea who made it and would appreciate some help in identifying it. Thanks, RER(BOB)

I have found some information that identifies the maker as Ronald Lukian & Gail Hall of "Lukian Glass Studios", Rawdon, Quebec. RER(BOB)
