Compote? Candy dish? What is this??

I inherited a large collection of pink glass, and have been able to identify every piece and pattern except for this one. I've searched every book, every auction site, every bit of information I could access and have not found this pattern anywhere (although I have seen similar pieces in different patterns). Does anyone recognize this piece?

We would need some better photos (side view) and better description (sizes) of the item before we can definitely identify it. I am leaning towards a U.S.Glass/Tiffin low-foot Bon Bon dish but more info needed. RER(BOB)

Sure. Thank you for the tip, I'll look for that by name...also, I have the piece stored, but will get it out in the next day or so for better pictures. The only dimensions I have noted are that it's 8" tall and around 6" front to back.
