While at an antique show this weekend, I picked up a nametag. It looks to be late 40s/early 50s. It’s 1 ¾ x 3 “, It has General Electric with the GE logo centered on top, 3 narrow stripes on each side, and N.P. 69592 A printed on it, all in blue ink. Handwritten below the GE name and logos is “SKYLIGHTERS”, and below that “Pilot” Slottka with an underline handwritten underneath (all quotation marks are on the card and handwritten). This is all printed on white cardboard, in a plastic sleeve with a pin back. I found out the Skylighters were the 225th AAA Searchlight Battallion, and I wondered if anyone here, with all our vast knowledge might know where the tag came from.
I thought there were some comments on this. I wonder what happened to them?
