This is the 1955 Lufkin Rule Company Precision Tools Catalog No. 8 and the accompanying price list booklet. - The Lufkin Rule Company was established in 1869 and had their United States plant based in Saginaw, Michigan. Their Canada-based plant was in Barrie, Ontario. I have included a scan of the two Lufkin factories. They manufactured precision machinists' measuring instruments including tape rules, boxwood rules, calipers, dividers, depth gages, and micrometers.
