    blunderbuss2
    (199 items)

While visiting my sister in KY, I spotted our old 45 rpm record player in her garage. Hope this brings back memories like it did for me. Would have plugged it in to see if it still worked until I saw the condition of the cord. Bet it does.
My sign is ready for when they finish the bridge over our lagoon. Taking bets on how long it stays there. Last pic? Hey, I could poste 4!

Like the player and the sign, love the shirt

Get a lot of laughs & a number of raised eyebrows on the shirt kerry. Tempted to poste pics of my new toy I got while up in McDonald's Land. Unfired, in the case!

I agree with Kerry.... pic 4 is the best

Cool old Player ! Love it . Today my husband put on his FB " I had my horn sound replaced with the sound of a gun fire " Now people pay attention when I am alerting them from cutting me off on highway . Your shirt seems to say same thing . Neat post of old 45's spinning on your once new player ! :-)

Glad a few of you enjoyed the poste. Need some help here! Since my blunderbusses are muzzle- loaders, I need a driver for drive-bys. Target enriched zone. Any volunteers? (Got more modern back-up in case of a flat)

Are you setting up a toll booth with the sign?
If they get close enough to read your shirt, you shouldn't have any trouble hitting them!

That new/old record player doesn't stir any memories in me.. is it from the olden days!?...as for your drive bys...that shirt, your blunderbuss and my old truck..whatcha think?.....;-)
    8. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 11 years ago
Come on over inky! I'll even pay for the powder, shot, flints & petrol. That old RCA probably goes back to the early 50's. It was top of the line where you could put on a stack of records & would automatically feed as each finish.

Walks, afraid the gov't. has already grabbed the toll concession. It will probably only be a few years before it is channeled into a single politician's pocket. Maybe I can have that pocket.

Oh well at least you'll have some fun with the sign!

      It's a *sit n' spin* isn't it LoL

The record player certainly brings back memories. As for the shirt, if we are old enough to remember the record player a scatter gun is the tool for the job.....our eyes are old and no sense wasting ammunition with an almost shot.

I'm going to be a fireman when I grow up!

Four or five years ago I had to take a drivers course at work. One of the instructors asked what we would do if we encountered another driver having road rage. I raised my hand and said, I would hope I can reload faster than him. I guess that wasn't the answer they wanted.

fhrjr2, on the 8th day God created 9 m/m. It took man all these years to come up with magazines!!
    16. kerry10456 kerry10456, 11 years ago
LOL Lucas, I never heard that line, but have heard "That God created Man, S/W made them equal"

I love the meaning on the Tshirt but you can still have 2 shots let the first 1 count then let off the second as a policeman once told me who knows which shot came first, as long as it's for a very good reason & I had one. Plus at the time I was living in the middle of a State Forest unbeknown to me apart from being a Scout camp it was also a drug drop off point.

When I lived in Jamaica we had our sayings. "The police always fires a warning shot. It's the last shot." And, "The police always knock twice. The first knock is their boot hitting the door & the 2nd 1 is the door hitting the wall."

Lucas that T shirt has me in stitches!

      Cool shirt!
    21. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 11 years ago
Thanks everybody for the comments on the shirt, but the 45rpm record player was the poste. LOL Have an idea that my reputation for the bizarre is the only reason anybody clk'd on the record player. Hope I meet expectations.

Oh yeah, cool old record player, thanks for sharing.

Roy, this has been going on for 5 yrs! History is: I've kicked her out 4, 5, 6 times. I have no experience with raising a 17yr old adolecent girl in a 40 yr. old. Talking last nite about things. 28 yrs diff. in age is a bit much! Need to break now. Wish me luck! It is cold (78F/23C) so a warm body is nice in bed. Then there's ----. ? Falling out of love is the hard part! Been trying for several yrs. Well, maybe a month. Would you believe a week? OK,OK, maybe several days! Not FB. OK, OK, a few hours!
    26. Roycroftbooksfromme1, 10 years ago
well bb,.. they say a 99 % of relations break down for two reasons ,..sex or money ,..in your case it sounds like both ...lol
    27. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Wrong on both counts. I have no experience raising an adolescent girl. 17 yr old still at 40. A Kraut with no discipline.
    28. Roycroftbooksfromme1, 10 years ago
lol...... love it when you go on the defenses,.. come on you cant blame it all on her gramper ...girls just want have fun hun... oh girl just want have fun ....great song ,,,I forget the one about sugar daddy's ...lol Maybe you'll hook up with a blue hair ,..that's more you age and not so demanding te he
    29. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
      Yeah, great song Roy.
