This decor shows up on eBay quite regularly, but it is hard to find just the right one when you are looking for a good example. Many of them have wavy threading, skips, uneven rims, asymmetrical buttons, large bubbles or even damages. I wanted a taller example in order to display it better in the back row of my Tango shelf, and I have lots of reds, oranges and yellows, so I wanted something different. This one fits the bill nicely. It measures 7 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" wide at the rim. It is not marked, but in the Loetz/Series II book I found some other forms that were commonly used for Aus. 166 in 1914.
Dave, Stunning!!! I am not crazy about Tango's..but this one I would gladly have!!! Congrats!!!
Thank you, Gary. It's a nice change from the usual orange/black or red/black ones.
Love the color combination.
love love this one very beautiful:)
Nice - mine are all of the usual variety (red/orange/black)
Because I have decided to stick with one of each decor, I want to get the best or most unusual example of it. This one worked for this decor.
This vase grabs me every time I see it......it is such colors of today...........
Great color combo and shape, Dave. Very nice.
