These two Standard Oil bottles were found in a storage building Monday in Indianapolis, Indiana. They are both dated 1946 and also have the tin collar around the neck.

These are cool, did you know they have reproductions of this same style bottle, they have the tin collars and everything.
Trey, I've seen several reproduction oil bottles out there. These look like reproductions because they look so good but I'm pretty darn sure they are the real thing.

Your bottles are the real deal, the repops look brand new which is a dead giveaway.
I have got hooked on some fakes before, but these are dated 1946. I agree they are the real deal. Thanks again for commenting!
