I assume this is from Columbia Records, since it was discovered with many others in sleeves, and this was also in a Columbia sleeve.

Unknown, but I do realize that this could be quite rare!

KU Pep Song, "I'm A Jay-Hawk"...KU Alma Mater, "The Crimson And The Blue"

    Likely year released...range from 1911 to 1916?

The weird numbers before the art is 8777, and 8778

    Ideas?

Looks like it says Game II. I have a friend who works at the University of Kansas, I will make contact with her to confirm. The Alma Matter is a college song played at sports events & school spirit. Awesome share! Love it!

Thank you Tom...I played it on 45RPM, played good, but one area on alma mater has a deeper groove and it sits there till adjusted

I too have a copy of the same vinyl 78 LP. I also found a very details article about the record in the "Graduate Magazine University of Kansas vol. XXII April, 1924" archived by Google Books. Thanks Google Books!! Mystery solved. Enjoy!
