It just arrived today! I have wanted a Rindskopf Pepita for years, and finally have a beauty. I am thrilled to have found it. It is 10.25" tall, and dates from about 1900-1905. It is a big vase, but very light, too. It has a really nice iridescence, and the reds really glow when the sun shines through it. I included a picture of the bottom so the green spots are visible. I believe this pattern is called the 'inverted thumbprint' but I have also seen it described as 'honeycomb'.
I ac totally understand I loooove Rindskopf...beautiful..well done!...:-)
Thanks inky and Gary! My husband just got home, and he said it is much prettier in person than in the seller's photo (the photos I put up on CW are mine) - he didn't realize the glass colors changed in such a soft gradient. It is always good when your SO likes your latest acquisition! :)
Thanks Leah!
Lovely! I'm yet to own one :)
Thanks Trudy! It took me a while - I hope you find one, too! :)
You've got an amazing Pepita collection already! :) LOve them all!
I love the decor!!
Thank you austrohungaro! That is sweet to say. As I told inky, I had not added any new Rindskopf to my collection in ages, and then in the last two months, there has been a wave! They really are one of my favorites. :)
