I bought this vase back in 1978 from a local antique dealer and have never seen another like it.
It is what is known as 'vaseline' glass and is pressed or moulded, stands 12"
high and is in the form of a hand holding ancient torch, could possibly be Art Nouveau
There is no makers name or mark on the bottom.
Can anyone throw any light on who would have made it and it's age please.

appears to possibly have been fairly new when you bought it. It isn't Vaseline glass tho' as Vaseline glass is yellow like the color of Vaseline. From the photo it looks to be frosted crystal (clear) glass.
