This vase has a ruffled rim and lots of air bubbles in the glass. It has a polished pontil mark. In the pontil mark is written "5 1/2", it looks as if it's written with pencil.
    What could it be?
    It's 4,7 iches (12 cm) high and 5,5 inches (14 cm) wide.

Take a look at this old post of mine : http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/85592-rindskopf

My guess on both is Rindskopf.

What a beautiful vase! Thank you so much for this help with identification!
I think it really looks related- seeing your vase which looks very typical "Rindskopf-shaped" is convincing!
