    I have posted this before so will have to remove that post. On this post I have taken a photo of the base, which is 5 1/4 inches wide, height is 11 1/2 inches,neck width is6 inches. All sizes are approximate. It has no markings that I can see, it does seem to have a Mexican look to me but I could be very wrong. Any help alway's appreciated. I did think it was pottery but now maybe Terraccota or is that the same. Thank you

      Hi Zowie , cool vase probably mexican/portugese/spanish ...
      terracotta is a natural clay which is baked (terracotta literally means baked earth) colour varies depending on the clay used its very waterproof & sturdy.
      (Im not brainy , just read it on the net ) lol
      i think some clays need to be glazed to be waterproof !
      Apart from that i dont think theres too much difference ..
