This stunning Victorian End of Day satin glass water pitcher is part of a three piece set. The other two pieces are a small water glass and a waste bowl. I have had these pieces for many years. They were given to me by a friend and collector of all things beautiful. Sets like mine were used on a nite stand or table near the bed. A must in those elegant and proper times. I actually use something similar today but certainly nothing this exquisite.

Hi, I saw your pitcher and it is just like a pitcher set I have. I am trying to get a value on these items, can you help? I have a pitcher, 4 small glassed and what my Grandmother called a "sweet pea" bowl. Thank you, Ross

Since I have not seen your pieces I cannot really offer an opinion.. I can say that newer "End of Day" pieces are not selling for very much. I feel my set is worth at least 250.00. My set is from the late 19th C..early 20ieth C. Yu can seek advice from the Kovels..at http://www.Kovels.com . They may have more to say about this type of glass. I know your set is lovely as is mine.
