Blue Chrysanthemum Sprig was one of the more popular patterns and colors many years ago and very popular with collectors. Like so much of collectible glass, it has suffered in the last dacade. But, In my opinion, its still a classic in American colored Victorian glass. It came in a table set that includes a butter dish, sugar, creamer, and spooner. A salt, pepper, and cruet with matching tray and even a toothpick holder. An impressive water set and jelly compote. There was also a large master berry bowl with matching smaller bowls.
They could be found with the classic Northwood script marking on the bottom.
The same pattern and variety of shapes can also be found in their custard glass line.
Impressive. I so rarely see these with the gilding in such good condition. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome, thanks
This is a stunning set.. I love it.
Lovely..lovely colour!...:-)
Scott, they are all so lovely. You have very beautiful collections. I think I just fell in-love with the red/clear pitcher in photo #3
Ahh, that is a Rubina frosted Hobbs Hobnail pitcher. They are fun to collect because Hobbs made those pitchers in many different sizes and many colors!
I can definitely see me collecting *those*
You could build quite a colorful collection. However, they are water pitchers so they take up a lot of room.
I know... I have a few water pitcher but nothing as lovely as you have Scott
They are out there you just have to know where to look
