I recently picked up a framed print by Karl Witkowski. the only information I have found is the year. The Mat size is 17.5 x 21. I am afraid to take it out of the frame but I am guessing it is 20x24. I Can not find one for sale anywhere.

Looks like part of At the Campfire, but different.
I think it is Bonfire. I am not sure how rare it is.
I just had a look again after reading your comment berhead!
The list of paintings here has At the Campfire aka Campers
Campers Copyright 1910 (wood scene, two boys cooking meal over campfire, one stirring fire with long pole, two fish and cup on grass, tent at right).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karol_D._Witkowski
There is also
Bonfire, Copyright 1907, 20 x 24 inches, oil on canvas (night scene, background, landscape, a boy with brown cap, white waist dark pants, kneeling near a bonfire).
and
Solid Comfort, Copyright 1910 (little boy kneeling before bonfire holding hands to the fire, background of bushes and foliage)
I reckon your hunch is correct according to the description.
Bonfire, Copyright 1907.
I agree. To my best knowledge it is Bonfire (1907)

By the way, can I get better picture of it (without flash on good sunny day)? I am the author of Karl Witkowski Wiki life info (Mopialex).

I recently found this artwork in my deceased grandmothers attic. It has a tag on the back of the art indicating a Schwind and Sons art school of merit in Elyria Ohio. The label includes the Art title which is indicated on the label of my piece as "Boy and Campfire" it is signed and has a copyright date of 1907 in the lower right corner of the art itself
Not wonder. Those art dealers what they see, they indicate as a title.
Below I have information on author's work for year 1907.

Just ran across this.
We have the same painting on our wall. Picked it up years ago from a friend that was moving and I believe she picked it at a garage sale.
Never really thought much about it but figured I'd see if it needed to be insured. lol
Number 7232 written in pencil on the frame underneath the backing.
The frame looks like it was put together in someone's garage definitely not a professional job by today's standards.
Please if anyone knows where I can buy this picture ,it was in our family house growing up , given to us by our grandmother ,PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME THANK YOU LIZZYLU
