I absolutely love this Vintage Regal Aluminum Cake Dome With Locking Carrier. I added the glassware to it (prettier). Lately I've been asked several times what I collect. My answer has been the same.. nothing in particular, just whatever catches my eye. But after going thru photos I've recently taken I realized I collect a lot of kitchen items. I guess that stems from my love of baking and cooking. * I collect kitchen items* =^)
In this case I would say it would help. By the way the glass liner looks fine for your display but if you ever sell take it out or just through in as a extra otherwise it's not original. This coloured Aluminum ware really seems to be taking off at the moment , for something I took for granted growing up it spins me out at times.
Thanks Zowie =^) yes, I've seen a lot of the colored aluminum on ebay. I loved drinking from them as a child. It made drinks sooo cold!

I love vintage cake carriers. My daughter LOVES to bake... That's her hobby. So I have been looking for a great carrier for a while. We were recently in Los Angeles for her volleyball competition... Of course I had to drop her off and go check out a nearby garage sale. And glad I did... I found a gorgeous one for $3... I will post the picture soon...

Ya, it's pretty awesome, except we don't do it together... She is too advanced for me and I just get in the way. I just hang out on CW while she works in the kitchen :)

The only problem with them they also left a pool of water. Will have to post glasses all still in original packing down to the bottle opener & paper going slightly brown.

That is okay Aimathena by the way DrFluffy someone had to teach your daughter to cook it usually starts in the home.
I have one just like it!! Mine does not lock down. I going to send it to my cousin in Georgia she loves it to.
