Vase with gold leaf paint from a thrift store

This vase has been in our family for as long as anyone can remember. I believe it was purchased at a thrift store in Arizona in the 1940s. It Seems to have Gold leaf paint at the top. It stands 12 inches tall. Any idea on the Date and manufacture would be great. It says it's made in Austria and has three muskets on the bottom.
