I found this item in my grandpas garage which I think is a banjo style oiler. I don't know anything about it. If anyone could tell me more about it I would be Grateful.

Looks to be made of tin with a brass spout which has a threaded cap attached by a chain. The number 25 is written on both sides. Both sides of the can can be pressed inward and a puff of air comes out of the end of the spout.
It measures 5 3/4 inches long and approximately 3 inches in diameter.
    Thanks

OK, you have my attention! If an oiler, I would expect a pointed spout. This leads me to think maybe it is to blow something dry or just air. Maybe graphite into locks? Like you, I await a good opinion. Love to bounce things like this around!

Well TA, you have found the answer to my question. I checked the link and the oiler in the Colt 45 cleaning kit is the same one I have.

Thank you so much for the assistance. Now I know what I have.
