I found these owls some time ago. Simple, cast iron, bookends. Haven't been able to find any information about them. Does anyone recognize the style?

Can anyone identify these. Simple, cast iron, bookends.
Maybe Brutalist style?
Thanks. I wasn't familiar with Brutalist. A good place to start.
these owls lok great partially because they look like been there!!
Are you sure they are bookends? They look like something used in front of a Fireplace...andirons maybe, which would explain their state. RER(BOB)
No. They are bookends, not andirons. The photo doesn't show the colors much. Lot's of different colors, green, copper, browns, and black.
Interesting, I wonder how many people would scratch up a book shelf using cast iron book ends.
They are pretty smooth, but they are heavy.
its hard to tell from the picture is the middle hollow
These are beautiful:)
