I purchased this footed brass coffee grinder at an estate sale and paid $10. The only wood is the inside of the drawer. Is in wonderful condition and does not look to be restored or cleaned. The top & base plates are appx 4 3/4" square and stands from bottom of brass feet to top of crank finial appx 7" tall. The crank freely turns and all parts look original. I have my mother's old family coffee grinder which is a typical large wood and metal grinder (lable: No. 1707 Colonial Coffee Mill Wrightsville Hardware Co.) but the brass grinder I just purchased has no markings. I used Mike & Frank's theory that if you find something you've never seen before - BUY IT! Did I find a treasure?
