Sterling Silver English Inkwell-1790's

I bought this years ago from an antique dealer who did not like to handle silver for some reason. I paid $5 for this item (maybe the dealer thought it was silver-plated). I figured it was not my place to educate him on the art of reading silver hallmarks, so I gladly gave him the $5.

The bottles are obvious replacements. I found a cheapo silver plated inkwell for a few dollars at a thrift store, and the bottles fit perfectly in this item. I kept the bottles and tossed the 2nd inkwell.

I tried to photograph the hallmarks, but it came out as a fuzzy mess. I remember looking up the hallmarks once, and they are from the 1790's is all I remember. They are under one of the bottles.
