So I found this ring today. I am hoping it is what I am hoping it is, so I am not going to say anything so I do not jinx it.......whatever that means.... It is a tiny child's ring with "Michael" engraved. Some hallmarking and the number 9995 on the inside. Does anyone recognize any of these marks???? THanks!
Maybe I'm way off but the center marks look Asian.
Yes...I agree, but what I was hinting at was...is this platinum?
or palladium, or just stainless steel?
It's listed as being palladium on the English chart but am unsure what it would mean if it's Asian made.
sarahoff.....the English hallmark for palladium is the head of Pallas Athene, and it was introduced in 2009. And the date letter for 2011 jewelry in Birmingham is the letter "M". If you look at the marks vertically...the top could be the head of Pallas Athene, the second down is the letter "m" and the third could be the Birmingham anchor. The last two are company markings. This is a guess and a stretch.
