TallCakes so quick to come up with age I wish you were around about 1 & 1/2 years ago I had so much glass & singular glasses that I could never find & some put that real ting to them like Crystal

thank you TallCakes, is there a book for pieces like these to look them up and more/others?

for Elegant glass folks recommend "Elegant Glass" by Debbie and Randy Coe. For Heisey, Clarence Vogel has several. The few references I have are mostly EAPG except for the Imperial Glass catalogs. Often I just recognize certain motifs, like the unique diamond optics of these, and try the search function at Replacements.com and chataboutdg.com. I also have membership at EAPGpatterns.com, which has some carnival glass and depression era glass as well. Basically since I've been collecting EAPG for a number of years and researching glass I've become a bit familiar with different glass types and developed a knack for online research.

      Hi Deateaks.
Lovely glasses. I see Tallcakes had the answer again. TC helped me out too:)
I love the ring of crystal, I'm tapping it all the time.

these ring when I flip them with my finger and very thin at the top, I have to be careful when washing them, affraid of breaking them against the sink.

Hi Deanteaks and Tallcakes. I've just joined to ask you about this glass pattern, Old Dominion, which Tallcakes was so helpful to identify. I have 29 pieces of this pattern which I have inherited from my grandmother / great-grandmother (sadly 3 pieces broke moving from Colorado to Florida). While I absolutely love this glass, I do not drink and do not entertain. I will be transferring overseas in the near future and unfortunately just do not think this set will survive the transit. It is so thin and delicate! Would anybody be able to help me or steer me in the direction of determining the value of my collection and where/how I can go about selling it? I would greatly appreciate any assistance offered. Thank you!

Oh dear - I just saw the thing about no solicitations. Well, I'm not offering to sell anything directly, just asking how I could go about determining a value. I hope I haven't offended anybody. Sorry for the second post but I couldn't figure out how to go back and edit my earlier one. Please excuse my unfamiliarity with the forum.

Hi levitsa... : ) no harm done. for values I suggest checking online auction and sales sites; also Replacements.com is sometime useful tho' their prices are often much higher that most auction sites. You might also check a local antiques mall, as they often accept items on consignment; that way you wouldn't have to worry about packing and shipping.
