I didn't really pay much attention to this, but i have friends who come to visit who assure me 'it's really beautiful!!' it just kind of makes me laugh, but i guess i would have thought so when i was around 10 or so too. i don't know anything about it, but i think it's Chinese.

It does look like a jeweled bonsai tree. Very pretty
it's pretty - well-balanced. it's also kind of cheesy tho. but it is well made - w/ twisted brass wires forming the trunk and branches.
Wow, I want that. It looks 'vintage' to me, at the very least. Is there any label or markings on the base of the pot? Any idea of the age?
