This is more of a show-and-ask than a show-and-tell. This is my neighbor's, and he asked me to see what I could find out about it. He told me that it was made around 1924, but I read in a web article that the Angeles tricycles didn't begin being manufactured until 1958. I also read that these were made extra sturdy for day-care-type use so they could take the beating.
Obviously, the pedals and handlebar grips are missing, and it has quite a bit of rust on the frame and wheels. My neighbor had mentioned wanting to paint it, but I advised him against it until he learns more about the bike itself.
Is anyone out there familiar with this tricycle and the possible age? The sticker on the front is completely faded and illegible. Thanks!
