A not so old Chinese style chest with a brass lock and key similar to the one shown by Vintagechild. The late wife brought 3 of these about 20 odd yrs ago for her and her daughters. Not sure what timber it's made of but it has a nice smell to it, the chest is full of toys and baby clothes knitted by her. it has a small label in it with what likes like Chinese writing on it.
