Hello! I am the proud new owner of this wonderful bench. I got it at an antique store in San Francisco for $250. It is solid wood structurally, with a leather-like upholstery. It has only one identifier, underneath, which is a brass tag riveted to the underside of a side rail that says "K013-175". There are no other identifiers, manufacturer name, etc. I turned it on its side to take the close up picture of the leg and curved end, in case the detail of the wood carving helped someone identify this piece's origin, history, etc. The antique store owner did not know anything about the background of the piece either, unfortunately. It was listed at $680, so I am hoping I got a good deal at $250 and also hoping that it is fairly old and has more value, history, or a back story I can talk about to my friends. I would love your help in identifying this piece, who made it, and any historical information you can provide about it. I am an avid fan of the show, and have gotten the hobby of looking for picks myself when the opportunity presents itself. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. If you would like better or different pictures, please advise.
