I have waited four weeks for this rather large … Kralik chine vase to arrive but worth the wait.. it is stunning! ...not a colour I would normally consider..but! I love it!
I have spoken to a few people and they say they have never seen this colour in this deco…so!..and I hate saying this but! a “rare colour”…it’s a lovely dark treacle brown and in perfect condition, not one of the threads are broken which I was expecting with a vase this size..but...no!... perfect!
It has a polished pontil and quite a decent amount of age wear to the base, which makes it in MHO maybe 1930-ish maybe older..
It’s another large vase standing just over 27cm x 18cm in diameter… or… 11” x 7” (just over.. in diameter).
Any comments or corrections are very welcome and wanted…many thanks for looking….:-)
Wow, that's a big vase! I didn't know they made them in that colour and I don't usually go for that colour either but it has a lot of appeal. Well spotted!
