New to the collection - a small vase, near-miniature at 3.75" tall, in an older shape (PN I/7569, dating to 26 October 1898, in an old color - metallrot, or metallic red, which is more of an iridescent "peachy red". I don't know the decor number for the enamel decoration, but the pattern in the first photo repeats around the body of the vase three times.
The line drawing information reproduced in Ricke II does not mention this decor, but has the notation, Gre 7501 (K l) in rubin Phänomen = 7569/I. This is not a Phänomen Genre, of course, but rather a fairly uncommon and beautiful shade of red with an early "pastry bag" type enameled floral decoration.
Beautiful again ... both the color and the proportions ...
How is the cataloging of the pastry bags progressing ? ...
Beautiful piece!!
