    Hi,
This is a very nice bowl I purchased at an Antiques fair recently for just £20. A few years back I had purchased a small vase with the same pattern for less than 50 cents at a local boot sale . I loved it especially when I checked it for uranium at home, the vase glowed brightly which really brought out the design. At the time I tried hard to find out the maker but failed badly. So when I saw the large bowl I just had to buy it. I still have no idea where it was created and hope someone here can help.
The bowl measures 8.5" in diameter and just under 4" tall. The silver plated rim has a maker's mark S & B plus EPNS. I have discovered that this maker is The Company Slack and Barlow of Sheffield England who specialised in cutlery but also worked on bowls just like this during the 1920/30s. Which seems about right fit this item.
    Many Thanks,
    Bryn

      Thanks Sean.
I've watched from the sidelines for quite a while and loved all of what I've seen. So thought I'd join the fun!

I love colour of your bowl and the Art Nouveau enameling design, it remindeds me of something!!! ...Loetz! tango or Kralik tango?..so had a quick look, I know everything on eBay is not right but! here is one that is very similar in colour and might help you in your research..good luck and welcome to CW...:-)

That's a fabulous piece of glass Inky. The quality finish is better than on my piece methinks. The pattern on mine is on the surface whilst I think your example is over glazed. I'd really love that one!
      Thanks
